As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide psychotherapy for individuals, families and couples. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue and Masters in Sociology from Fordham University and Social Work from Fordham School of Social Welfare. I like to describe myself as a “trained listener” who supports and guides people who want to increase their wellbeing and happiness. I provide a safe and quiet place for people who are depressed, anxious or going through a life transition that they find to be challenging. I live in Sayville with my husband Peter. I have four sons, three daughters-in law and four grandchildren. I love to play with my family and cook great meals. We enjoy hiking, traveling and meeting new people. www.facebook.com/Barnettcounseling
